Mr. Peanut's Silver Series line of totes is designed with high value and quality in mind and includes features to keep your pet calm, safe and secure with a comfortable removable padded bed supported by a 1/4" Plywood Base. This carrier is light to carry at 3.5lbs but yet firm and durable to protect your precious pet, and in fact the exterior nylon fabric is waterproof as well. The non stain nylon fabric is also very easy to keep clean with a wipe down while the included bedding pad is easily removable for recommended hand wash or dry cleaning. This series also includes self locking zippers for ease of use and ultimate safety never having to worry whether the zippers are locked or not.
***Please keep in mind the exterior dimensions of the tote (17.5" Length x 11" Width x 11" Height) to determine if the tote is appropriately sized for your pet. These are the maximum exterior dimensions, and of course the interior size is somewhat less due to fabric thickness. Recommended for pets under 14lbs

Visit the Mr. Peanuts FAQ page which has some more specifics on all the models, but the primary difference between these two series is that the Gold Series models all use a strengthened 600D nylon fabric that allows for maximum pliability while still retaining its structure, whereas the Platinum Series models use a lighter weight, wrinkle free 300D nylon. Neither is superior to the other, as each borrow features from the other, but they are mostly different in aesthetics.
HOW TO MEASURE YOUR PET - I always recommend to measure your pet while comfortably laying down, as this is the typical position during flight time. Keep in mind all of my airline capable bags are designed with pet safety and comfort as the priority, and then by airline under seat requirements, so sizing is limited by that criteria.
BE SURE to acclimate your pet as much as possible to a new carrier in a home environment. You never want their first adventure out to be to a stressful airport or veterinarian. Let your pet learn to appreciate the carrier as a safe home away from home.
