Like so many online retailers, especially small business, we are working through the EU regulations that went into effect (or rather enforcement) on December 13 and the Canadian Postal Strike. As you can imagine this provides challenges for us as we enter the new year.
GPSR Regulations
We currently have our EU products limited to those that have been qualified with a EU representative. We will add more products as quickly as we can. Along with that the two year general warranty for the UK expands to the EU. This covers faulty production for up to two years. In general, most of the products we sold the last two years (when the regulations were enacted) will be sold on the market, but we have to jump through all the GPSR hoops with our online listings. If you are in the EU and ordered from us recently, you've likely already seen the QR codes and abundance of information on packing and tags.
Canada Post Strike
As the Canada Post strike continues, shipping to and within Canada has grown harder. Whenever possible, we have upgraded shipping to an alternate carrier without adding additional cost to you. While we try to anticipate shipping issues to Canada, at times we've had to work on a case-to-case basis due to location or availability.
We will contact you if an issue arises and provide an immediate refund. We will let you know when shipping resumes for that item in Canada if you would like to reorder at that time. We find this to be a better solution than simply shipping the items into the void.
I am sad to report that one of our most popular partners, Aloha Pug, has currently halted all shipments to Canada. Along with other items that are currently not shipping to Canada, we've removed them from the Canadian version of our website. If you are using a VPN or have location services disabled, you may make it all the way to the cart before being told you cannot order. We apologize for the inconvenience.
