Pug Life was on a mild hiatus as I went to Germany from August 27 to October 2, but now we're back and in full spooky season as we prepare for Halloween. By mild hiatus, I mean, our store was open for shipping, but we weren't posting new products, sharing pug updates, or marketing at all! We all need a vacation sometimes. But we're back!
There is still time to grab some fun pug-themed spooky season shirts and home gear, and we've got a ton of fun stuff that also works year round. Whether it's a goth or steampunk vibe you're looking for or just fun monster pugs, we've got you covered, as usual. Our made in UK party plates and serving dishes will arrive quickly, well before your Halloween party on October 24 or 25, if you order before October 13 (maybe a few days later, but US customs is a mess, as we know).
Pug Rescue Halloween Parties
Almost every Pug Rescue has a Pug-o-Ween fundraiser coming up, and Pug Life is proud to. have supported a few of them this year. Tiny Paws Pug Rescue's Pug-o-Ween in Saratoga, CA, and Pug Nation Rescue Los Angeles Spooktacular in Torrance, CA, both take place October 25. Closer to our home is the Church of Pug Carnevil on October 12. We know there are dozens upon dozens more across the US, and we'd love to support yours next year.
While it’s tempting to dress your pug as a tiny pumpkin or witch, it’s essential to prioritize their comfort and safety before anything else. Remember, pugs overheat, and you want them to be able to show off their festive costume for the entire party. We can't wait to see everyone's Pug-O-Ween and Halloween photos!
Last year, we went to the Church of Pug event and were amazed at all the creative costumes. Having been in Germany fo so long this year, I have slacked on finding new pug costumes, so we'll probably recycle old costumes and head out for some fun photos. Stay tuned.
