I hate to gush over my own products, but I am absolutely in love with each and every Pug Life woven blanket. And we have several designs ready for Christmas gift giving. They're soft cotton, super fun, and ready for cuddling with pugs.
All of our woven blankets are now 100% cotton made with yarn that has been dyed with water-based inks. This makes them all softer and cozier. We've updates all of our graphics as well to work with the all-cotton yarn, making them more vibrant than ever!

Where are our Woven Blankets made?
Obviously, they are better than anything I could ever make myself, and that's because I"ve partnered with an amazing weaver in North Carolina. That's right, each and every one of these blankest is woven to order in the USA by a family-owned company that has been weaving textiles for almost 100 years. The weavers I work with don't just produce quality blankets, but they do it fast! Turnaround is usually just 2-3 business days from when you place the order (the holiday season may take an extra day or two). I absolutely love handing off my designs to them and trust that you'll love their final product!
Produced on a machine called a Jacquard loom, each woven blanket is made by weaving together a combination of monochrome and solid-colored cotton yarns. Rather than printing a design onto the fabric, the loom itself incorporates the yarn into the weave one strand at a time creating the pattern. It's absolutely fascinating to watch these machines work as the design slow emerges.
Why These Are More Than Just Throws
- Quality + Sustainability: Woven (not just printed), using 100% cotton yarn, colorful fringe, and water-based inks for vibrant, lasting designs.
- Multiple Sizes: From 52″×37″ to 80″×60″ so you can drape, layer, or snuggle big.
- Designed for Pug Lovers: Each design embodies that “Pug Life” spirit: fun, warm, and a little bit cheeky.
- Easy Care: Machine washable cold, mild detergent, gentle cycle, tumble dry low.
Machine Washable But Watch Those Nails
Our woven blankets can be tossed in the washing machine on cold and tumble dried low without losing shape or color! But beware of those pug nails. If your pugs are like ours, then they hate having their nails cut. If they get too long, they can snag the weave on the blankets. Usually these can be fixed by gently pulling around the fabric to coax the errant string back in. We don't really bother, because the blankets are meant to be lived in and loved by humans and pugs alike.
