There is a lot going on in the United States--and the world--meaning our little slice of pug heaven sometimes takes a back burner to current events. But at Pug Haus, we feel like we have to embrace some lightness and irreverence every now and again, just to keep ourselves going. We grab a pug or four, turn on some streaming marathon, snuggle up under a soft, minky Pug Life blanket (yes, they really are all over our house), and just recharge for a while.
What are we lounging in?
I'm still obsessed with my Pug Butt Lounge Pants that I've been wearing for years. Everybody loves these pants, except the little in her life who thought they were a bit much for a school pickup. When I'm not wearing a Vince tank top, I throw on my dolman sleeved pug life shirt, which is so comfy for lounging, but still looks good outside the home.

What are we watching?
We fell hard for Heated Rivalry, but there weren't enough horses in it for Lulu. She did love the new Minnie Driver series Runaway. She thinks people with curly hair are dogs and barks at the tv. Fallout strikes a good chord between great tv and Lulu barking material. We all love Dog Meat! It's not just shows tho. We just finished the new Toxic Avenger, which is a great ode to Troma. And nothing says avoid the world and snow like a Hallmark movie marathon. Currently, we're counting down the days until the next 28 Years Later is streaming.
This week, it's been all NFL Playoffs. My original hometown team lost to my current hometown team yesterday. Or I should say Seattle destroyed San Francisco in a very lopsided game. I wish Seattle had let the QB kick a ball!
What are you watching?
What are we cuddling up with?
We have so many blankets in our house, and half of them are on the couch at any given time. We're a little partial to pug blankets, as you can imagine. We use and abuse the Space Pug Minky Blanket (we have three) along with our favorite Faux Fur Throw Blanket we picked up years ago. There's also a ton of Pet Fusion blankets (that link takes you to Chewy, we don't get anything for you following it) around for the pugs to slobber on. But really, all the blankets are pug blankets. We keep the Pug Life woven blankets around too, in case we have guests over and need to look more put together.

What about the Pillows?
My husband hates that we have approximately 2,000 pillows on both of our sectionals, but they're required. Human pillows, dog pillows, pug pillows, pug life pillows, extra pillows, pillows for everyone! If you need a few more pillows for you couch, or a fun seasonal switch up, we've got you covered. Check out our pug pillows in various sizes and materials to complete your cuddle experience.
What about Pug Life?
As for Pug Life, I've got some new products on the way and am saying good bye to quite a few products this year. I've also partnered with some new companies to bring you even more great pug products, from harnesses to Fluff Troughs (our dog bowls of choice for all our pugs).
I know this post seems like a lot of rambling, but we really are hibernating a bit this winter to recharge and get the energy to face the world. I imagine that many of you are feeling the same way. In between news and protests and community meetings, I've chosen to watch a lot of tv, do a bunch of crosswords (I'm on a 100-day streak!), practice my French, and eat so much cheese. All the cheese! The pugs like that last bit. What are you doing to get through these days?
Grab a pug and spend a moment in bliss! Then let me know how you're doing so far in 2026????
